About Raven
Writing Philosophy
Real life is such a downer, am I right? Between the news, gritty reboots, and social media, our entertainment is an increasing cycle of outrage and doom. I’m not about that.
I want my stories to be funny, romantic romps through space and time. The stakes may be life and death, but in the end it’ll turn out okay. There’s too much misery in the world today, and I have no wish to add to it. I’m trying to output joy, romance, and a few laughs, where the aliens are weird but not too weird; just like us.
So sit back and enjoy what Kepler Station has to offer. These books are in no particular order. Just like in life, everyone on Kepler is at a different phase. If you love my work, feel free to drop me a line, or leave a rating and a review on Amazon. If you hate my work, buy all my books, just to be sure.
About Raven
Raven studied writing and theatre at Drake University and graduated around the turn of the century. Through theatre, they traveled to New York, New Orleans, and throughout the Midwest. But something was still missing.
After trying (and failing) to fit in the business, real estate, and retail worlds, Raven fell into writing and made their own world instead. A student of science fiction their entire life, they enjoy the works of Ursula Le Guin, Phillip K Dick, Octavia Butler, and many others. They live in the Chicago area with their beautiful fiancée and loudmouth cat.
